More than 170 delegates from the transport and IT industry, including government officials and the academic sector, with the participation of three ministers used the chance to exchange their views on the topic of restarting the Slovak economy using domestic digital and green innovations in transport during the professional conference entitled driving.digital 2020 Smart Mobility – a Chance for Slovakia. The second year of the conference took place on September 22, 2020 in the X-BIONICS Šamorín complex, as part of the European Mobility Week events.

The main goal of the event was to draw attention to the possibilities of Slovak industry and research and to mobilize all bearers of the potential of using intelligent mobility innovations for their application in Slovakia’s Recovery and Resilience Plan and other EU financial mechanisms in the development of public transport and Slovakia’s industries.

Smart mobility is one of the most dynamically developing areas globally, with a number of innovations finding application in all sectors related to passenger and freight transport.
